high density polyethylene


WESTLAKE Ultra Ethylux is made from high density polyethylene resin. This material is a cost effective alternative for a variety of end uses including mild chemical and wear applications.

The following physical property information is based on typical values of the base high density polyethylene resin.

Food processing equipment
Cutting boards
"CPI, fluid handling"
Wear applications

Good tensile strength and stiffness
Virgin HDPE FDA compliant

Manufacturing Capabilities:
Rod: 1/2" to 15" diameter
Sheet (Comp. Molded): 1/4" to 6" thick
Sheet (Fabric Backed): .030" to 3/16" thick

Color/Grades:
Natural Translucent
White (custom colors available)
